How to use immunized in a sentence?
It is at large in the community now, and particularly infants too young to be immunized, people with other health conditions and, of course, people who aren’t immunized need to be very concerned.
We know how fast this virus spreads and how stealthily. We really would have to have a lot of people immunized before we would eradicate this virus.
I had a plan going in for that question to be asked, it was a pseudo witch hunt going on -- who was vaccinated, who wasn't vaccinated. I was in a multi-month conversation that turned into an appeal process with the NFL at that time, and my appeal hinged on that exact statement [immunized]. So what I said was, number one, factually true. I went through a multi-immunization process. And at the end of that, I don't know what you would call it, I would call it immunized.
Right now, we have about 90 % population immunity, meaning people who have either been naturally infected or immunized or both -- that's good. We're moving into the warmer climates -- that's good. This is really basically, at its heart, a winter virus. The numbers are way down from where they had been -- that's good. But you still had 150,000 cases yesterday and 1,000 deaths. That's still a lot of cases and deaths, so, what I would say is, independent of whether there's mandates or not, I think people should reasonably wear masks when they're indoors for the next few weeks, until we're much farther down then where we are right now.
You've got to go through two shots, three weeks apart, and then another two weeks after that. So if you got immunized on Halloween and you're, you know, nine years old, it's still going to be December by the time you have that full protection.
