I couldn't do what I do today if I didn't have my degree. And I'm very proud of the work that I've done and the people I've met along the way -- it's been life-changing for sure, i guess the part I struggle with is why we put a price tag on access and education at all. Because it seems to be something that is only keeping down middle - to low income - folks.
The last seven years have all been more than 1-degree Celsius above the 19th century -- and that's large enough on a planetary scale to start showing up much, much more clearly in local and regional and extreme events, the global warming is now large enough that it's an indicator of all those other things that we're already seeing. So, we're now seeing global warming quite locally in ways that, a decade ago or maybe 20 years ago, was still unclear.
To me, that says that theres some degree of intergenerational knowledge being passed down. There is continuity of practice.
