  1. bounty

According to the etymology and original usage, beneficence is the doing well, benevolence the wishing or willing well to others; but benevolence has come to include beneficence, and to displace it. We should not now speak of benevolence which did not help, unless where there was no power to help; even then we should rather say good-will or sympathy. Charity, which originally meant the purest love for God and man (as in 1 Cor. xiii), is now almost universally applied to some form of almsgiving, and is much more limited in meaning than benevolence. Benignity suggests some occult power of blessing, such as was formerly ascribed to the stars; we may say a good man has an air of benignity. Kindness and tenderness are personal; benevolence and charity are general. Kindness extends to all sentient beings, whether men or animals, in prosperity or in distress. Tenderness especially goes out toward the young, feeble, and needy, or even to the dead. Humanity is so much kindness and tenderness toward man or beast as it would be inhuman not to have; we say of some act of care or kindness, "common humanity requires it." Generosity is self-forgetful kindness in disposition or action; it includes much besides giving; as, the generosity of forgiveness. Bounty applies to ample giving, which on a larger scale is expressed by munificence. Liberality indicates broad, genial kindly views, whether manifested in gifts or otherwise. We speak of the bounty of a generous host, the liberality or munificence of the founder of a college, or of the liberality of a theologian toward the holders of conflicting beliefs. Philanthropy applies to wide schemes for human welfare, often, but not always, involving large expenditures in charity or benevolence. Compare MERCY.

  1. Trent Dilfer:

And the kid asks him whos the most influential person in his life. And Tommy starts tearing up and starts talking about his dad and the impact that hes had on his life. Its these signature moments where these kids connect with these guys at the Super Bowl. ULTRA-RARE ZION WILLIAMSON ROOKIE CARD HAS BOUNTY OUT FOR $ 500G Dilfer believes collecting cards is a great way for people to connect with their favorite players. Dilfer, who grew up in the Bay Area, said he grew up an Eric Dickerson fan, and his way of connecting with one of his favorite players was through trading cards. Im still a 12-year-old at heart, i collected cards and I think its cool. They still send me a bunch of cards. Its just fun channeling that inner 12-year-old again, and knowing that trading cards, especially as cool as Panini does them, really connects the kid to the player. I was an Eric Dickerson fan. And San Francisco 49ers fans were always getting mad at me because San Francisco 49ers fans were San Francisco 49ers fans. And I did like the Niners, but I loved Eric Dickerson. And I loved Eric Dickerson because I had Eric Dickerson rookie card when I was collecting cards with my buddies. It connected me to Eric Dickerson, and to this day, Eric Dickerson and I are San Francisco 49ers fans. Ive told Eric that story. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM Dilfer added :.

  2. Carlyle:

It is no very good symptom, either of nations or individuals, that they deal much in vaticination. Happy men are full of the present, for its bounty suffices them; and wise men also, for its duties engage them. Our grand business undoubtedly is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what clearly lies at hand.

  3. Stew Peters:

You learn to be a cop by being a cop and you don’t learn to be a bounty hunter in a classroom, either. The bounty hunter added that there should be more initial field training as a requirement. Warrant service is easily the most dangerous part of law enforcement.

  4. Ben Sasse:

President Biden still clings to an insane fantasy that the Taliban is kinder and gentler, it’s nonsense. Haqqani is the Taliban’s new interior minister for precisely the same reason the FBI’s got a $5 million bounty on his head: he’s a bloodthirsty terrorist. He’s armed, dangerous, and running a country we just abandoned.

  5. Katie Moussouris:

If it had been a legitimate bug bounty, it would have been ideal for everyone involved to shout it from the rooftops.
